At Our Timeless Threads, we offer more than just beautiful clothing—our immersive pop-up shop celebrates the elegance of classic eras, creating moments of joy, dignity, and love for our elders. Our mission is to restore a sense of identity and autonomy in choice to elderly residents in care facilities while reducing waste by giving pre-loved clothing a second life.
Care homes can request their own themes for each pop-up event, from celebrating the Melbourne Cup with a delightful hat-making session followed by a vibrant catwalk, to a glamorous 1920s speakeasy event where residents can wear flapper dresses and enjoy a fun photoshoot. Together, we create memorable experiences that foster connection and creativity.

CREATIVE CARE WORKSHOIPS
Give your residents a chance to express themselves with our engaging, hands-on workshops. In Sewing with Purpose, residents create meaningful meal protectors using fashion waste—choosing fabrics, colours, and designs that reflect their unique style while supporting sustainability.
Community Sewing Class (3.5 hours): Make your own tote bag and scrunchie for just $40 per person.
Care Home Sewing Workshops (3.5 hours): $150 activity fee. Residents can purchase the meal protectors made on the day for only $15 each.

BRINGING LOVE AND STYLE TO AGED CARE.
We bring the magic of fashion to aged care homes with our nostalgic-inspired mobile shop, celebrating the beauty of classic eras. Residents can touch, try on, and choose their own fabrics, restoring autonomy and pride in their appearance. Each experience is enriched with sensory elements like vibrant colours, music, and themed décor, creating a fully immersive environment tailored to the chosen theme. This is about dignity and the respect every elder deserves. For those living with dementia, the sensory journey—through familiar sights, sounds, and textures—helps connect with cherished memories, as we understand the importance of engaging with residents in the eras they most remember, creating moments of true joy, safety and meaningful connection.
TWO CHALLENGES, ONE SOLUTION.
We care for both people and the planet. Through our collaboration with RCYCL and your donations, we save pre-loved garments from landfills, giving them a second life. With 200,000 tonnes of clothing ending up in Australian landfills each year, RCYCL helps us turn old fibres into new yarn, ensuring that unused donations are repurposed sustainably. This allows us to provide comfortable, stylish clothing to aged care homes, meeting residents' needs and supporting facilities in upholding Aged Care Commission standards, all while enhancing the dignity and quality of life for our elders.
